Unlike the rest of the (sane) people in the continental US, I am wide-awake, editing photos, sipping Pinot Noir and trying to tune out my puppy(Kingsley). He has decided it is playtime, at midnight, and I must be the thrower of the toy…Focus…Little Black Dress. Yes, a few days ago I started following Morning Lavender, on Instagram, and I immediately fell in love♥. I went to her online shop, saw this dress and had to try it out. Normally if dresses only come in S-M-L, they tend to be too big on me, but the description said the dress runs a little small- it fit like a glove! This dress is well made, very flattering and great for Fall. Note to self- This shop is on my radar, for future purchases. Take a little scroll and see what I wore with my new LBD !!!

 I am sorry I didn’t take a closer picture, of my makeup. I think this outfit calls for a SmOkEy EYE and glossy lips. Yep, dramatic makeup can definitely work with this. Stay away from the smokey eye and bright-red lip, do one or the other…Preferably the dark eyes will go best, but if eye-shadow is your enemy opt for the colored lip. With hair, be sleek and sexy-straight or low, slick ponytail (Kendall Jenner comes to mind for this look).

Where to Wear and MORE++++

Where to Wear- On a HOT date, hands-down, this tight dress makes their eye’s linger. This would also be great for a bachelorette party, or a night out in Vegas…In other words, it is a party scene dress, but it starts out with dinner. It really makes you feel confident because it hugs you in all the right places.

Definitely a Clutch Purse– This dress is sexy AND chic, a clutch is a must. If you hate carrying clutches get one that has a thin, metal chain to turn it into a shoulder clutch.

Outfit Inspiration(Theme)– I normally tend to have an overall theme to an outfit. This dress is asymmetrical, sharp but simple so I really wanted a pattern shoe to make it POP. When I saw the red-plaid pumps, I knew they had some character and were great for Fall 2016. I thought a gold, chain necklace (that wasn’t too busy) would be a nice compliment and a simple black clutch to top off this LBD. In all honesty, the plaid shoes add a little grunge flair and I kept that in mind.

I have now decided against extreme sleep deprivation, I’m calling it a night. I hope y’all liked this Fall/LBD/Grunge/Plaid look, it really is fun to wear and I feel great in it!
