I am on a recipe binge, I’ll go ahead and blame the holidays. This time of year just makes me so happy, it is the time for ALL of your favorite, shouldn’t eat this on a regular basis, foods. I constantly have to fight the urge to throw on an apron and cook pumpkin everything. Just kidding…I don’t wear an apron. Onto the recipe, I have only made this Pumpkin Bread twice. The first time was two years ago and then just two days ago. This recipe is really delicious and impressive, however, it does take a little bit of time. I like to save it for a special treat or occasion…or when I buy an awesome loaf pan and need an excuse to use it. So,pumpkin bread it is. Did I mention it’s delicious? Read More
These sausage balls are always a hit wherever I bring them. Since it is so close, to the holidays and it just so happens to be my sister’s birthday, I want to share one of her best recipes. My sister actually started making these, for my Aboo (Grandfather) during Christmas. When she made them, we would sneak away so many she started having to make a batch for Aboo and another batch for everyone else. They are THAT addicting. I have since stolen her recipe and made it my own- just a few little changes.
I don’t know about everyone else, but I love the holiday season. You know what else happens this time of year-cold weather, comfort food and cashmere sweaters. Instead of the same ole’ chili you always tend make, you should mix-it-up, add a little diversity to your family’s dinner table. Luckily, I have the perfect (Crock-Pot)recipe, tested and approved by the pickiest eater-MY HUSBAND. Read More
I found this recipe during my senior year, at UA, and have since changed a few measurements. The result: a ridiculously, addicting, need to stop but can’t dessert. PLUS this recipe is super easy and quick (easy and quick enough for a senior taking 19 hours, studying for the MCAT, planning a destination wedding and still having a second to bake a dessert for her fiancé). I am now tired by just thinking about that time in my life, whoa. You get the picture, it’s an “anyone can make this” recipe, BUT the best part is how insanely, delicious these cream cheese squares truly are.
Fair warning, below is the most delicious, sinful pound cake recipe EVER concocted. My hat’s off to my sister’s Mother-In-Law, Gwen, who shared this recipe with me. It is so easy to make and the end result is nothing short of AmAzInG! Read More
