Since my last post I celebrated my 25th birthday, sold my house, had a emotional break-down, booked a trip to Disney World, became a tutor and painted a few pictures…That’s my short list, but you get the picture there is a lot going on. Unfortunately, I had to put some things on the back-burner and put “me” back together and functioning. I’m still figuring it out and I’m also reading all those articles about “What would 50-year-old me tell 25-year-old me” to try and get some direction. Whoever thought 25 would be so stressful? Do any other millennials feel a little lost?
I’ve gone as far as paying $$ for a What Career Best Fits You test. Go ahead and laugh, I’m kind of everywhere right now. My mind goes from medical school to interior design, then back to the medical field, then public relations…WHAT A MESS. Not only can I not make up my mind, I’m too scared to move because I’m all over the place. I’m not complaining, I’m writing this to the world because of all those articles I read. The advice is vast, subjective and kind of everywhere. No wonder my generation is crazy. Damn internet. It’s definitely a love/hate relationship with me. Anyway I thought I would share a few articles that I found interesting and some things I took to heart. You have to start from somewhere, so the easiest place is to start with yourself and your purpose. Who are you? What is your purpose?
Question: SERIOUSLY, who am I?
Answer: Right now, I’m a work in process…to be continued.

This list is more about advice. Sometimes you are your biggest obstacle and harshest critic. It’s nice to read something that reminds you to breathe and give yourself a little break. I’m still working on the criticizing and break thing.
One tip I did take-#12- I started painting again and it’s pretty enjoyable. Tiberius and Kingsley try to join in, that’s not so enjoyable.
A Book That Makes You Think: The Mastery of Love
I’m still reading this book. Even though it is not long, you are processing so many things that it takes you an hour to finish a chapter. I started writing down my thoughts and questions, as they came. Personally I don’t agree with everything in this book, but it does have some amazing perspectives.
Enough of this heavy stuff, I got a lot of questions about one of my date-night outfits. SO I wanted to end this post on something that is much easier for me to talk about.
