Super heroes aren’t the only one wearing capes! Ha! Okay sorry for the cheesy pun, but I couldn’t help myself. Cutting to the chase this week’s OOTW (Outfit Of The Week) is very special, it is one of my favorite gifts that I have EVER received. I saw this cape on one of the bloggers I follow and sent the picture to my sister. She not only went through the trouble of getting the dress, she even got it tailored to my height! Unfortunately, she did have to cut off the scallop edges but it is just as amazing. This look is definitely an oldie, but with modern flare. I love the cape because you can wear it during the summer with a camisole dress underneath or during the winter with tights and a long-sleeved fitted dress. {Side Notes}
I wore this outfit to The Russian Tea Room, for dinner. I paired this dress with kitten heels, because they are comfortable and easy to walk in -A must for NYC. While we are on the subject of the shoes, I think that shoes with ankle straps are very feminine, beautiful and dainty, plus it never hurts to have that extra support. This dress/outfit is definitely for a special occasion, whether it may be a winter wedding or a 10-year anniversary, you will definitely turn some heads (in a good way).
Love,
M&MJ
